How soon will my money be available to withdraw after I sell an investment?

When selling equities held in a General Investment Account (GIA) or Individual Savings Account (ISA), there is a settlement period of 1 - 2 days before the resulting money is eligible to be withdrawn.
This settlement period is the time required to exchange, clear and settle your order and is a function of the underlying market we must follow.

Within the settlement period:

•    You can reinvest your money in a different stock on the same account
•    You can’t transfer your money to a different account or withdraw it
